  1. diggyd — A lot of people care about preserving peace in Ireland, but that is not a reason to oppose Brexit. The Good Friday Agreement may not have anticipated that the UK would leave the EU, but it does not require that the UK must remain in the EU. When the UK is finally free, it should respect the GFA as it moves forward.

  5. bucketsandshims — The US Congress have not said that. Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that. She is not likely to be Speaker in a couple of years.

  6. Mark and Cathy Nickerson — You don’t have to like Trump to think no-deal Brexit is the right choice. I think Trump is an imbecile (and always have), but I can’t fathom the reason why the UK would choose to be subservient to the EU.
