  3. JJ Johnson — It isn’t the idea that’s the problem, it’s the pompous attitude of President Trump. The diplomatic way to go about such a transaction would be to have the ambassador look into the possibility discreetly. When it is learned that Denmark and the Greenlanders have no interest in such a change, then it would be dropped and no one (almost) would know anything about it. Trump doesn’t know anything about diplomacy and doesn’t care to learn.

  4. Pastor Jim D.D. They may own pieces of land here and there, but they don’t have sovereign power over it. Except at embassies and consulates, where their sovereign power is temporary, limited to its use as such.
