  2. Kodiak — Even if what they did (or didn’t) do amounts to manslaughter (unlikely), you can’t charge, arrest, try, sentence, and imprison someone in a week. We have due process in this country.

  3. The appointment of Dr. Sawyer seems like a good move, since she served in that position for a long time in administrations of both parties. It is an interim move, though, since she was retired.
