  2. The video doesn't give any details of her charges. Whatever they are, the District Attorney will review them and likely only file charges that seem to be supported. I don't think they should let her off just because she's a female with a medical problem.

  7. They couldn't see him because of the cracked glass. With only a couple of shots, they might not have hit him at all. Things happened fast when he was finally cornered, so it was more prudent to stay on the offensive until they can see that he is down.

  13. Video recordings from two different cameras in different lighting conditions will not match exactly. The security camera was monochrome. In low light conditions it has to adjust the white level to get sufficient contrast to get a good image. It's complicated.

  17. Pleas of "not guilty" are routine for felonies. Admitting to having committed an act is not the same thing as pleading "guilty" to a oarticular charge. For one thing, there. may be various levels of homicide on the table. For another, there may be a possibility of negotiating the sentence.

  25. The Drug Task Force officer could not pursue, either by task force policy, or because the individual officer was not certified for pursuit. If you watch the video, you will see that there was a pursuit with a successful outcome. Notice that at some point a tracker was put on the car, which allowed them to corner the vehicle in a rural location away from innocent bystanders.
