  1. The Republicans in Congress were who prevented bipartisanship, not President Obama. They refused even to participate in writing the Affordable Care Act, hoping to kill it outright. That is why we got a Democratic act. They alse refused even to interview Obama's last nomination for the Supreme Court, even though he was well qualified and had received strong Republican support for the Court of Appeals. Extreme partisanship is Republican policy.
