I’ve had lager w/ lemon (also called a “shandy” in English) in Barcelona. It’s wonderful in hot weather! Like a wine cooler for beer drinkers. But if you make it with an American lemon soda, it won’t be the same — too sweet. In Europe you would make it with Classic Schweppes Lemon. In the USA, that would be called Schweppes Bitter Lemon, but I don’t think it is sold here anymore. The Schweppes product contains quinine, so to imitate it you would use tonic water instead of club soda, and lemon crystals. A Catalan brewery, Estrella Damm, sells it pre-mixed as Damm Lemon. I think they make it from a commercial lemon concentrate, not the retail Schweppes product.

Ranek Eisenkralle — There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of small breweries in the USA. Some of their products are excellent. Beer, after all, is no secret. It has been made by every civilization since prehistoric times. For lager/lemon, I recommend Buoy Helles, made in Astoria, Oregon.

Ranek Eisenkralle — There are thousands of American beers, some of them excellent. I’ve had beer in Prague and Vienna and I have no trouble finding equally good beer in the USA. One thing I can’t find, however, is zwickelbier.
