  1. I think hydrogen fuel cells would be better for school buses in some places. We have a few fuel cell city buses where I live. The dearth of hydrogen filling stations is not a problem for fleets, because the hydrogen generation can be done where the fleet is garaged. Our transit agency uses solar power to separate hydrogen from water.
