  1. Biden has slain the beast, so he is a white knight. Anything he accomplishes is extra. Because of his age, he will not likely run for a 2nd term. What the Democrats need to do this term is repair their brand.

  3. Wrong. He is the President-Elect in the eyes of the world and nearly all Americans. Normally, winners of presidential elections are recognized within a day or two of the election. Biden’s margin of victory is solid, but Trump and his hard-core supporters hold out just because they are disconnected from reality.

  4. The US President cannot force the EU to do anything. I would be pleased, though, if he could encourage the EU to get along with a sovereign United Kingdom.
