  2. The Fitz — It was, but it was due to incompetence. It is obvious that there was not an adequate plan to protect the structure during the work that was being done.

  3. Joseph R. Gainey — Not possible. The structure of the original roof cannot be duplicated today. It needs modern engineered beams to support a new roof.

  4. John Monkus — Modern engineered beams are the way to do it. To protect the roof from fire, just don’t let any construction workers up there without close supervision.
