  1. Kyle M — That’s what we have. It does get good mileage, but our overall average is about 30 mpg with mixed city/highway driving.

I don’t know about the physics, but we switched from a Cruze with a small, normally aspirated engine to another Cruze with a smaller, turbocharged engine (only because the first Cruze was totaled). I liked the first one better. It seems to me that the turbocharger is just something I don’t need, so simpler is better. By the way, a Cruze does very well in protecting passengers when scrunched on both ends.
