The secondary forces are unbalanced due to the asymmetry of momentum in the rods and pistons comparing those with the axis of the rod bearing above the axis of the crankshaft to those below the axis of the crankshaft. He made a video to explain this. I don’t see why the secondary forces are balanced for the six, however.
