  1. Mrs. Brophy is important, but she is not the most critical witness. The testimony about the guns and her whereabouts at the time of the murder are the critical parts of the prosecution case.

  2. The timeline is a little unclear at this point, because Mrs. Brophy cannot give precise times. We know that Nancy Brophy did go to the scene after the shooting, but I’m not sure where the third call fits in. I’m sure the prosecution will clear this up later.
