  5. The judge cannot dispense with the jury. He cannot force a plea deal. He knows how to do his job, and is doing it properly.

  7. How do you know that? The first one (technically 2nd) worked her case for more than two years. The second (technically 6th) was on the case about a year. Do you think he has never met with her? We don’t know what he has been doing on her behalf.

  10. The Public Defender has never participated in this case. They were assigned the case at first, but when they were to take over the case after the withdrawal of Boone’s first attorney, they discovered they had a conflict of interest. They had represented the person she is now accused of killing in an earlier matter. Two subsequent court-appointed attornies also withdrew due to conflict of interest, then Bankowitz was appointed. He is the only court-appointed attorney to have worked on the case.

  12.  @AlaFrigginBama — Boone has only had two attornies work on her case. The others had to withdraw before doing anything substantive because they determined that they had conflicts of interest.
