  1. The judge still has to read Boone's submittal, then hold a hearing to rule on any request. Hopefully, she will not be allowed to fire the attorney, and the attorney will not request permission to withdraw.

  2. Cashman is substantively the 5th attorney. One of the five who have actually worked on the case had it for about a year, and one had a family emergency (so I have heard), so only two have bailed after a short time. It isn't quite as bad as it seems.

  7. The attorney is appointed by the court, however. If your name is on the list, and it comes up, you are stuck until you convince the judge to let you withdraw, which previous attorneys have.
