  1. His responsibility is to the public generally. He cannot set aside his duty just for the sake of the feelings of the defendant’s family. He may care about their feelings but he must do his duty.

  3. No, a prosecutor must believe you are guilty and believe that he can prove it before putting you on trial. Trying a person who is believed to be not guilty would be prosecutorial misconduct. That can happen, but rarely. It didn’t happen here.
