  1. Not tho only injustice in Nobel prizes, and sometimes men are the victims. Physicist George Gamow and his student Alpher predicted the microwave background radiation as a consequence of the Big Bang. Years later it was discovered by accident. The discoverers didn’t even know what they had found, but they got the Nobel Prize for it.

  2. History has remembered Bell, though. I remember reading of her discovery long ago. I never remembered the names of the two who received the Nobel. I also remember the names of a few other women who made significant contributions to physical sciences, because they are mentioned in various books on the histry of science.
