  1. courtney Vegan — The 2nd gen did increase the range enough so that most commuters can make a round trip on one charge. Fast charging is available with a 220 volt power source. Supercharging is not necessary because the battery isn’t that large and the car will run on guess. What you want is an all-electric car, not a hybrid.
