This talk about rudder cables seems to me entirely speculative. There has been no incident regarding these cables, so why should they have anything to do with grounding? The 737 NG also has cables and it isn’t grounded.

padmoz — You are mistaken. The sole reason for MCAS was to avoid a new type certification. The aircraft is safe without MCAS and with a corrected MCAS.

wascally wabbit — In fact, the Space Shuttle flew again after the second crash. NASA is still in business, and FAA will remain in business also. Hopefully, some things will be fixed in the way it goes about its business.
