  2. robertbslee — EASA will do what it likes, but I think the FAA should get the MAX flying domestically, and elsewhere where regulators are willing. We (in the US) should not be held hostage on this. If there is a good reason why it is not ready, I’d like to know what it is. Saying it is “found wanting” doesn’t tell me anything. I’m not defending Boeing here. They have been hurt greatly by this and they deserve it, but the xcessively long grounding is also hurting airlines and passengers.
