  1. In fact, attacks on civilians have been coming from Ukranians. It is part of heir “ethnic cleansing” program. The people of Mariupol are largely of Greek origin, and they speak Russian, so are not Ukranian. And the Ukranians know that the Russians will be blamed. The Russian interest in Mariupol is in removing the Azov Battalion, as well as protecting Russian-speaking Ukranian citizens.
