  1. Biden is progressive, but he is a centrist, not a left-wing loon. He should not be looking to the left. He won the nomination because mainstream Democrats rejected the leftists. He should consolidate the center, because he will get some votes from Republicans in swing states. The VP candidate who will do that is Susan Rice. You can see how the interviewee is promoting the left wing by her remarks about Rice. She has to mention her, as one of the leading candidates, but she tries to take her down a peg by saying the campaign will be about Benghazi. It won’t. Every time a leftist Democrat is interviewed she tries to spin the narrative to the left, to promote the leftist agenda. This is a chronic weakness of the Democratic Party. There is only one thing on the agenda this year: defeat President Trump and win the White House and, if possible, the Senate.
