  2. Yes. The burglary was staged. The notion that a thief would slaughter the family in this way, then take a shower before leaving with a couple of items is not reasonable.

  7.  @elliebellie7816  — Thinking someone did the crime is not enough. Jurors must be convinced that there is no reasonable alternative explanation. But I don’t know how anyone can be sure what they would have done as a juror. The jury hears all the evidence, then takes instruction from the judge and discusses the evidence among themselves in seclusion. The verdict comes out of that process, not just listing to pieces of the case alone.
