  1. spudnik901 — No, it is not “inherently unstable.” Such an aircraft could not be put into commercial service. The design of the 737 Max is completely conventional and of the most common type: two engines hung under the wings. It flies as well as all others of its type.

  5. encinobalboa — When the sensors disagree, it will warn the pilots and will take no action on either sensor input. This is fail-safe operation, how it should have been designed in the first place.
