  1. Yes, for awhile pollsters were saying it looked close, but it turned out to be a walkover. Does anybody else remember when Republicans were fiscal conservatives? We spent a quarter of a billion dollars on this, just so one Trumplican and 50 more people you never heard of could pretend they were running for governor. People of both major parties used to think a recall was something to be used in extraordinary circumstances, such as criminal conduct, not merely disagreements over policy. Now, it has become just a tool of harassment.
