  19. The issue with the wall wasnt that people could climb over it, or dig under it. The best versions they prototyped were pretty damn good. They're still available to be seen online, and its clear they would have genuinely worked being lined top to bottom with censors. The issue was that the best versions were so absurdly expensive that it was never going to get funded. And, of course, the garbage version Trump tried to build didnt work and was still expensive as hell.

Mexico is only truly hindered by the drug trade (and some trafficking problems). Otherwise they ABSOLUTELY LOVE the financial, fiscal, technological, agricultural, tourist, etc... opportunities of being connected to Western countries. Freedom and democracy are the answer to a better life and a better world. Were not perfect, that's for sure, but the alternative in countries like Russia is little more than poverty and horror...
