James Mackes youre an idiot if you think that way you cant "change it to their ideals" when it says "shall not be infringed(which means limited)." period. and youre saying people who would use it for that purpose would have easier access too not thinking about the people who could stop said person easier and not have to wait for police to show up easier access the "criminals" already have all the access they want without any license or anything else they say you have to have for them to consider it "legal" you forget theres a thing called the "black market" where they sell all this stuff "illegally" so having "laws" "banning" it will only affect those going by those so called "laws" a person with evil intent a "law" wont stop you have to keep that in mind its illegal to steal but people do it every day its illegal to kill people do it every day etc no "law" can stop a person who wont follow them or even putting em in jail cause theyre already too crowded so they just have to let em back out people being able to defend themselves with whatever they please is a deterrent to crime they dont pick those places where they know there will be heavy resistance and about the amendment things theres multiple ways it says that new "amendments" cant be made in certain areas and says no power given in this document shall pass or hold weight of law theres a reason they wrote it that way and its so the people (if they do what they should have power over the government not the other way around)
