The fact that China has decided to prop up it's economy with debt fuled make work projects like money sink high speed rail that nobody can afford to use and massive housing projects in places nobody wants to live in a society where people have children way below the rate of replacement suggests that there is no plan for how to keep the economy from stalling out in the long term and it's not like Xi will allow the market to decide where to invest capital in order to ensure long term growth.
