  1. I had always thought that western governments had already prepared plans (more than a decade ago) to deal with the next global pandemic. Then, when the communist regime in China started forcing people into vans and locking down entire cities, it seems the west said "Hey, that's a good idea" and forgot their own plans. Of course, China's utter failure to be open and accountable about what happened there in 2019 when the virus first appeared, meant the west was infected before it knew it....
