As an Aussie who has experienced multiple devastating bushfires and seen how our fire fighters and command operate before, during and after a fire, I'm forming the DISTIBCT IMPRESSION that this has been ONE ALMIGHTY STUFF UP by everybody in elected positions (Governor, etc) and fire fighting control and command in Hawaii. Heads must roll... (Figuratively, of course...) The legal bill will be enormous, because legal action WILL be taken, IMHO. 👮‍♀👮‍♂⚖ M 🦘🏏😎

  2.  @benjurqunov  That may be a cultural thing for the citizens, but once you are Mayor, or Governor of Fire Chief you actually have LEGALLY BINDING obligations. So the 'culture' is 100% IRRELEVANT here.
