  1. The druids had EVERYTHING to do with Stonehenge. The Welsh-Gallic language spread with the copper trade from Llandudno Orme in Anglesey-area at a time contemporaneous with Stonehenge (1950 bce). To say that Stonehenge had nothing to do with druids is a canard. Druids were priests (all the ancient writers say this), and as such they most probably menhir monuments like Stonehenge to calculate their pagan harvest-calendars and instruct students about Pythagorean math-lore. J. Caesar notes that druids were very skilled in latitude/earth-geometry and astronomy. Hecataeus notes that the Hyperboreans on an island larger than Sicily worshipped the Sun at the Summer Solstice (circa 500 bce).
