  2. I get an irrational rage streak when people manipulate, harm, or exploit the vulnerable. The elderly, people with special needs, children, animals, etc. I'm glad I hold the station that I have in my career because I seriously feel like I get to help all vulnerable populations every day. However, I do get the vigilante urge once a while. This case is absolutely triggering that urge.

  5. I seriously question everything about her. If her Mom is so fabulous, why did Mom let Dad get away with shaving her head or kidnapping her for five months? It just doesn't make sense.

  6. They bring up a good point, though. Dating apps will pair up people only on the information they provide. Now, it's been a while since I've used dating apps (yes, they existed just on computers about 2 decades ago), so I don't know if there are any "flags" that you can check if you have a disability of some sort. I also don't know if anything concerning disabled individuals is covered in any TOS. I would hope that state-operated programs might have enrichment activities where disabled individuals can be provided with SAFE romantic opportunities, along with the support to navigate such a space. Interesting thoughts that I'll have to check out...

  8. 44:12 So, Isabela basically pulled a Sarah Boone. Ya know, they think they are so dang smart and untouchable that it's delusional. Then they do something dumb like document the entire crime. This was one shining silver lining out of this horrendous and heinous case.

  12. Great advice from the other commentors here. If you sense trouble, don't hesitate to contact the authorities. One more thing, and please don't take this the wrong way. Sometimes, kids are just itching to move out so they can gain some kind of independence from their parents. The more parents try to tighten their grip, the more they will push their kids away. I have NO IDEA what your relationship with your son is like, but please be cognizant of this. It's a delicate balance, and please don't hesitate to obtain support. Sending good vibes to you, your son, and your loved ones 🙏⭐️💙

  15. Do you know what's crazy about this? The Wimbush parents in Alt, GA were sentenced 10-30 years for locking their oldest son in the basement for almost 2 years. How is it that these dirt bags essentially walked away with a slap on the wrist? There were deceased children as a result of the actions of these POS. Makes absolutely no sense. Hopefully this situation will get a lot more attention and awareness so Ray Ray and Erika are haunted for the rest of their lives. We can't let this be forgotten.

  16. This is such a horrible and sad case that makes me incredibly angry. What this selfish and manipulative broad did to Philip is beyond evil. I'm having a hard time with this one. Because, there are plenty of vulnerable people like Philip that are out there, looking for connection, and d-bags will exploit that for their gain. I can't help but keep thinking, "If I were in Philip's life, I would have done this, or that..." This case has impacted me so much that I'm seriously going to look into this. I work in gov't, so I at least know EXACTLY where I can start asking questions. I want to know what kind of safeguards my State has to prevent this from happening to other people with special needs. If not... maybe there is something that can be done. Thank you, Danielle. Your platform helps more than you know.

  17. Funny that Ray Ray claims he didn't know about the babies; that Erika was just "baby sitting" for some alter-ego named Michelle... but no one was ever allowed in the house. This doesn’t pass the sniff test. He knew, and leaving these two children neglected, nameless and in deplorable conditions was the "price" for having more children when he said "no more kids." No way he didn't know.
