Completely agree. Her strength and will to hold out like that... so admirable and heart-wrenching at the same time 🥺🙏♥️

I think Anissa is so deceptive. Morgan is clearly sick and I agree with those who say Anissa used that to her advantage. She kind of reminds me of a my sister in a way. She used to be so mean to me in private but acted like the World's Greatest Sister in front of my family. Even as we are adults, she still has this manipulative way about her. So to the poster who say people change...sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

The constant deflection was such garbage. I hope he enjoys prison, because they just love POS who hurt children.

@G_Robb that makes a lot of sense. I was confused when they mentioned she served in Vietnam, because she's a woman today. Thanks for the info 👍

She's really concerned about how she looks and being judged. This makes me concur with your conclusion. Another reason why I think she was the abuser is the time laspe between Stoni & Steven's deaths. If Alex was so forthcoming about his abuse, why didn't he also mention his sister when he confessed to his mother?

@Letterbox Parrot As their mother, you would think she'd be a wreck. But it's almost like she was already aware. I understand that the kids told her a "story", but she just seemed eerily indifferent.
34
Some Lord of the Flies shiiiit 😔😖
24
Especially the fact that she was in such denial and lying so much. She shouldn't have been trusted at all.
22
@bellababooska4181 Hahaha!! Yeah, she's a sick ticket.
16
@Babz024 putting aside the grandfather's involvement for a moment. You mean to tell me that you don't find the way the mother speaks of her deceased daughter unsettling?
14
@joshntn37111 What did you want a biography? I meant there was probably x # of years spent in jail, x # of years spent in prison. And you're right, this is the internet. How about a casual conversation without jumping off a cliff?
14
I'm surprised that high schools or colleges don't encourage some kind of "buddy system" when people go out partying. When I was younger, we would all agree that it was the designated driver's call what time we left. If someone wanted to stay behind, then someone in the group would stay with them. I didn't have a car, but I do remember sticking around "babysitting" some friends that got really smashed at certain events. It's amazing: all the creeps that will try to prey on someone who us under the influence.
14
@Unapologetically A Problem for something so twisted and horrible to happen to a child, I think it's sad that everyone is picking each other's comments apart. It's almost like people want to get into debates with one another. Why? Generally, we're all saying the same thing.
13
Agree! I actually was able to run on the treadmill while watching this. I need to watch something seriously gripping when I'm on a treadmill, and this was fantastic work. Unfortunately, there was a little girl who was robbed of a life thanks to these sickos. Great job sharing this story.
12
@ABC it was probably just a generalization. Give the guy a break, especially for being so forthcoming.
10
I know that support/help is available for law enforcement during these types of hideous situations. Thank goodness, because I can't imagine processing a case like this w/out losing my shiiiit 😢
8
That bothered me...a lot 😕
7
@Robert Levine I agree but I also think she was too weak to cry/react. Like the poor little thing just gave up. I feel so horrible for her.
6
@keluvnme She did say something to both her father and grandfather.
5
I'll be able to rest easy tonight because of that reaction. Inmates don't like dudes who hurt kids, man. I hope they have a field day with him.
4
@Muirmaiden absolutely agree. You cannot watch this series and say that the mother isn't acting suspicious. Her defensive manner and demeaning way she speaks of her deceased daughter is so unsettling. And for the folks that say "people grieve in different ways"...you are absolutely correct. But what theory indicates that mom is grieving by throwing her deceased daughter under the bus?
4
@Don Ness in jail, too!
4
I think blaming music/video games on kids' violent behavior is a cop-out. There are so many other environmental and developmental factors that could steer young people to violence. I listened to hard-core rap and played gorey video games as a teen. You don't see me committing violent acts. Parents need to take responsibility and action for distilling morals in their children and being cognizant if something is amiss (i.e. psychological issues).
4
@yup_its_ME.512 no, not really. It's their job to get information from the suspect, so yes, they will talk him out of it. They didn't have to try very hard and got him to say very clearly that he doesn't want representation.
4
Mom is absolutely guilty of something. The way she throws her deceased daughter under the bus is so telling. Julia as the "protector" and probably called out some if the stuff that went down in that house. Mom's trying to save face by making her daughter appear "difficult".

@TigersandBearsOhMy has commented over 80 times in this upload, discrediting the grandfather and seems to be "Team Kim (mom)". @Peenis the puffed nosed dragon has commented over 30 times and seems to align with TigersandBears. The fact that these two are spending so much time and energy in this manner is suspicious to me. I'd go as far and say that they are related to the case somehow. I do think that some people are lacking a bit of objectivity in their comments, but so are they. Just on the other spectrum. Well, it is hard to be objective if you are involved.
3
@Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! Kyle & Amber's mother was at the station with them. Pretty sure they were cleared to question the two juveniles.
3
What surprises me is that they didn't request legal representation. Miranda rights are reviewed before an interrogation begins. Suspects are advised that they have a right to not incriminate themselves, right to a lawyer, etc. If they did request a lawyer, they probably would have been advised to not say anything and potentially get them out of the interrogation because they were not under arrest.

I'm not a fan of spanking, but I'm not totally opposed to it during extreme circumstances, such as startling a child before the moment get the best of them and they run out into traffic or grab something hot on the stove. Bottom line: I don't think many people here would consider spanking "good discipline", and would rather get a response from just speaking to a child. However, sometimes we are not afforded the luxury of time and patience.
3
@subswithnovideos-oz4zo as much as we like to stay positive and tolerant, I wonder if you would sing the same tune if you lost someone you love so heinously.
3
@Nanaflores59 She absolutely did slip! This all starts around 1:05:18

@-8h- Agree re: spectacle.

Sick ticket

@jenx818 THANK YOU!! I've been commenting the same. When her mother stated that she's hopeful her daughter was changing because of Travis's death... all because Jodi is talking to her more often... that just screamed that Mom is pretty sick, too. And by the way: I fully support the idea that people need to aquire a license in order to have children.
2
@KarmyToo I like your Kitty Cat avatar

I think what's appalling is the fact that people in this thread are actually trying to justify this deranged, evil broads actions on attempting to unaliving a 6 month old baby. Whatever she's resentful towards absolutely is no excuse. It's almost as appalling as this evil Mia person.
2
She totally rocked 👏👏👏

@PatyM00N I would call CPS on your sister & the boyfriend. Especially if he lives with your family. My sister had this dude living with her and he had huge anger issues. I didn't approve of the way he "scolded" my nieces. Long story short, he ended breaking her dog's leg and they had to put this poor animal down. I should have called the cops. But I did tell my sister that she had a week to get his abusuve-ass out of the house or I was calling CPS. Glad she's rid of him. Don't hesitate to protect your nieces/nephews.
2
This was the comment I was looking for, because you are 💯 correct. Unbelievable that he showed more emotion in those 30 seconds during his sentences compared to the entire interrogations. He's a sick, selfish POS. And so is she for letting it get this bad.
2
I think that Jodi's parents made the same mistake that many parents do. It sounds like Jodi's issues likely started way before she was a legal adult. That would have been the time to get her (and the family) some professional help. Maybe they did, but I get the feeling her parents tried to solve it themselves, and then started to sweep it under the carpet by bending to Jodi's every whim, especially to get that "trust" back.
2
You are so incredibly brave. I wish the same situation worked out for other kids that needed to be away from their abusive parents. Anyone watch "Parker standing up to his mother?"
2
I was looking for this comment 🤣
2
Her last statements in this interrogation make it clear as day that she completed resented her granddaughter's mother. There was drips and drabs, but then she goes on about this whole world is against me, took from me, owes me... but she's talking about the poor little one's mother the whole time. I hope she gets a good dose of prison justice everyday. This isn't mental illness, this is evil that just snapped.
2
@TigersandBearsOhMy I find your comment to be suspect. You think that the twin and mom would want to be lockstep with grandpa, instead of exerting energy to defend themselves. How are you associated with this case?
2
She's so dang fake, tho! It's obvious that she's full of bs.

@neurohack9038 Your comment displays such ignorance and makes you appear like a complete clown 🤡

@mrs.h2725 Actually, some are a lot cheaper, but there tend to be inconsistencies depending on the service you select. There SHOULD be a State-provided registry that people could access for free. Just like a S*x offender registry. And there's a lot of people who can't afford kids, but the cost of a background check sure isn't a good way to measure that. $50 is a lot to some people, especially for a public safety service that should be free.
1
@Jinkroll Usually covered with a "State Police" background check.
1
@cmartinez4042 I straight up think that people should get a license before having children. Forget this after the fact stuff.
