Attempting to compare the 2 are trying to compare apples to oranges. The WORLD was shocked and greatly concerned at the actions of the capital riots, not the other. ANYONE who thinks the overthrow of the United States of America is appropriate SHOULD be held as terrorists and according to the laws passed after 9/11 deservedly so. I have ZERO SYMPATHY for the insurrectionists and wholeheartedly wish for each and every one of them to go to prison (especially the leaders and everyone who gave speeches) who incited that mob who destroyed and ransacked the American seat of power.
