these people are desperate. Many of them walked hundreds of miles and left family and friends to come here. Instead of going after them, we should be going after the employers who illegally employ them!

@rhsktr1 It IS illegal for a business to hire undocumented workers, but we don't enforce those laws exactly because of what happened to that local community when federal officials raided a local plant where illegals were being exploited by employers. After the plant shutdown, money was not coming in and local politicians were up in arms about the loss of revenue. If we don't want people coming here, then let's go after these employers and when the word spreads in the south American world that they won't get work here, they'll stop coming. Let's send a few of these employers to prison and put others on notice that hiring illegal immigrants isn't in their best interests. Set up a "migrant processing center" where potential employers can go fine people they need who are processed for working here. Face it, we need people! We're not having babies in this country to keep up with labor demands.

@FuzzyWalrus123 employers are Americans and most of them are billionaires (like Don Trump) who rely on cheap labor and unregistered workers so they can pay them next to nothing to do jobs that people like you wouldn't be caught dead doing. The last time law enforcement raided a local plant in Tennessee they had to shut down the plant because they lost all of their workers. The townspeople were up in arms because the plant was raided! It's not the migrants fault dude... it's greedy rich arrogant Americans!

@femtoeclipse860 that's not the problem. It's the problem you see even though you've probably never been to any of those countries 😕. The problem is that they come here because they here there is work for them here and our state and local governments need people who are willing to work in meaningless, degrading jobs that Americans think they are to good for. When's the last time you folded sheets in some run down flearidden motel? Picked 🥒 or 🍊 in order to feed your family?

He held a election rally in Waco, TX, but I didn't watch it (eyes were wide shut), so what did he say about where he wanted to take the country and for what reason should he be given a second chance? He mentioned it didn't he?

I'm voting... period. People died for the right to vote. The new republican House majority ran on border security, tackling inflation, crime, etc. What have the actually done about about of those things? I see a lot of Hearings about Twitter and the FBI, but nothing to address border issues. Yet they eviscerated VP Harris about the border 🤔 🙄

we should setup corridors for migrants to walk to military facilities for proper processing. The US needs people to work here. Many of those people have useful skills that employers want. We should go after employers and prosecute those who abuse migrants.
