I agree let's stop giving the military pay raises every year! In the list 5 years its gotten $3.5 Trillion dollars the same being asked for by Democrats for social programs to help every American citizen!

@rimc8783 you don't get any help from any form of government? State government? Local? Then you're not learning how to use the benefits that you're entitled to. You've been fooled into thinking help from the government is a bad thing as you send them your tax money for things that don't benefit you. Who's fault is that exactly?

There are many people living under bridges and tents looking and begging for water and their next meal, buuuttt YOU think you have it so bad. Incredible how blatantly selfish millions of Americans are. I for one can't imagine being that arrogant and thinking you're still owed something. It was people like you who stormed the capital of the country because you feel "someone" is going to take something from you. I almost wish they would so then you'd have a greater appreciation for the meaningless "stuff" you got.

@rimc8783 rather you or I think its right is irrelevant. It's the law. Not only nationally but internationally. I would like to know where you get "millions" from though. If you're talking about Dreamers they weren't brought in by the government and millions of them live, work and pay taxes. Is it wrong to give these new people the same opportunities? What if they become great Americans like the girl who won Olympic Gold in gymnastics? Or the Congresswoman from Michigan? We have an employee shortage on a grand scale because millions of Americans don't want to go to work for minimum wages. You think these people would turn down a job now? I do believe they should be processed, and based on their skill levels (many Afghan refugees have higher levels of education, did you know that) and they are coming here with that knowledge. I think of German refugees from WWII who came here and look at what they have done for the country. What is it about these people that makes you think the won't give and contribute to our prosperity like other groups from Europe have done?

why are they doing this? ohhhhhh that's right, Moscow mitch McConnell pledged to do everything in his power to deny President Biden a successful presidency. But they'll blame Biden of course and right wing propaganda networks will help tell that lie.
