The migrants being released into the interior of the country are being provided transportation by Governors from Texas, Arizona, and Florida. Are they being subpoenaed?

@lina77770 what States want in regards to what the federal government needs done is irrelevant. If these states refuse to take any refugees and help with this issue, then they need to be stripped of federal dollars until they do comply. Period.

please define treason

@b1cf Ohhhhhh you mean maga. Thanks for clearing that up for me

they have more experience than those in the last administration.
1
@timtalaski5904 The last administration didn't do anything to stop it, contrary to unpopular belief. Everything they did that was screwed up, Fox entertainment didn't cover it, so that's why you haven't a clue about what it did wrong.

metalmilitia1096 why is that? What does that even mean? There are at least 5 states (Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota) that have less then 1 million people, why can't they take them instead of just dropping them off in downtown NYC?
1
@terriclark4255 Arizona is a large State. Why not? Put them in military bases and process them for work permits. All I see are "Now Hiring" signs all over the country.
1
@Shei-vei the reason they are empty is irrelevant, when the fact is that they are. Barring a natural disaster they can be put there. Why don't you just say went there're empty 🤔?

@daniellesullivan9883 Then I guess the federal government is assisting the border States after all, correct? by interior you mean into the inner cities, or established processing centers?

@jessfulbright9015 First and foremost, they aren't "illegal" if they are put on a bus and shipped to an different State. They are given paperwork to report to a immigration hearing at a later date. What's criminal is that sometimes the hearing is the next day yet the immigrant gets shipped to a State over a 1000 miles away. The Senate and House (of incompetence) should be involved in this from the start 🙄 but they just left it to the President who had to deal with a broken immigration system that was dismantled by Trump. No one acknowledges that VP Harris went to those countries and told them not to come here, because we couldn't accommodate them. Yet she gets blamed for the border 🙄

@lina77770 can you use English to explain specifically what is a "border jumper?" Just to be clear, if someone turns themselves in to Border Patrol and requesting asylum are they considered to be here "illegally?"
1
@jessfulbright9015 Yeah I know how to use Google thanks. Since you can as well, maybe you'll Google the reasoning behind the term? Something to do with police brutality perhaps? It never ceases to amaze me that what the people of a particular area can dictate terms to the federal government when its a inconvenience, but have their hands out to that same government when it does even though their elected representatives vote against those peoples best interests (infrastructure bill, Affordable Care Act, PACT and CHIPS, etc). But maybe you'll be so kind as to Google what exactly "illegal immigrants" mean and see if it fits the definition of those people.

@aaronwilson8403 there it is, full maga on display. I seriously hope my comments are driving you insane, just so you can see that you live in a bubble where everyone is in lockstep with the last ousted wannabe dictator. President Biden has had to deal with a highly politicized problem (brought on by Republicans) that NO ADMINISTRATION has figured out how to deal with. Period. Dismantling immigration courts and approving no immigration Judges has hardly helped the problem. Those States who don't want immigrants need to articulate their objections clearly, in a court of law, for all to see and hear. I want YOU to say exactly what it is (what "American Laws of Asylum" laws) that covers those States from taking migrants excluding from the fact that they simply "don't want them".

@chula686 not according to fox News
1
@chula686 You misunderstood my post. I was stating that migrants are given court dates, times and locations in one place. They are then put on a bus (which means they are no longer illegal) which just so happens to drop them off in front of the VP Harris residence with cameras waiting or downtown NYC (with cameras waiting), when all along they were told by their documentation that they needed to be in court in Phoenix, or San Antonio or Oklahoma city. You see the criminal intent here?
