Yes, I was part of the Miner's Strike, and we knew it was about far more than just coal, but about people versus greed...so people are those community-spirited individuals who want what is best for the whole, and they are happy to share in the riches and poverty of their enclave, as they are principle-based in their approach to life, and seek and try to abide by truth and what may be deemed reasonable in a moral society. Even within the working class there were those who have bought into the greed system, buying NCB houses for dirt cheap prices, or buying shares in water companies, for example. As Mr Womble stated though, globalised casino capitalism is rife...and surprise, surprise...global. This system and the rich elites cleaned out the UK of all of its assets. All utilities now owned by international investors, football clubs too, asset stripped, national govt bleeds local govt, service cuts, housing sold cheaply, then housing sector targeted financially, to drive up values, making money for rich land and property owners. Nationalised workers paid high taxes which supported infrastructure, now private companies seek loopholes to evade tax, which they always did, even many of our PMs were supported through their education by this abysmal system full of inequity and corruption. So increasing nos of people encouraged to dodge tax, despite fact it is for the benefit of the whole. So Chicago's issues paint a picture of a bigger set of issues, and although the outside looks alright in many places, there are places of degradation in all towns and cities in the Western world Do not be fooled though by external appearances, for there are many wolves in sheep's clothing, which this video begins to unmask; and also remember that when an apple rots, it rots from the inside, so by the time you see the issues, it's too late to do anything. The Miner's Strike alerted me to the decadence and immorality of the State, politicians, and our PMs, who just like many of these oligarchs in Chicago, are corrupt crooks. Yet, usually they get away with it, for the rich rule the poor, and use their contacts, lawyers, accountants, and politicians to help them out, and maintain the system which they bleed, and profit from. Love is the answer, but too many in the world now breed fear and hate. Only terrifying wars and societal collapse will bring about a new system of rule...along with the help of the Almighty Father Who presides o'er us all.
