Yes, I read this too, and if it's the case, then it spells trouble, as it will be constantly in circulation, and if it ever becomes more deadly, you'd have to go to a complete lockdown, which is always the best defence vs these type of diseases, and should have been employed at the very beginning of these outbreaks. It's just that modern society has never been so vulnerable to these outbreaks, as it lacks the mentality and resilience on many levels to act accordingly, as we are neither sustainable nor resilient enough to commit to this type of strategical undertaking. Example, many already screaming in UK due to Christmas cancellations for some parties and meals, and retailers and businesses really worried, and warning of closures. This is despite knowing that NHS services and staff are already stretched to their limits, and people are still dying from this disease. The best thing we can learn is that we are not meant to live by profit margins alone, and change our societies to a more holistic type of lifestyle!!!

  4.  @fraxis2007  Well there is another issue you have inadvertently raised, for how normal is our usual practice of Christmas, let alone our usual patterns of society. And how these types of viruses would have loved the normal Xmas celebrations in the north in the 1980's, when hundreds of female factory staff would descend on Barnsley town centre pubs, and commence a festive snogging ritual with holidaying miners, lasting most of the day, and continuing throughout the Christmas Festival, if they could find someone to snog that is. The magnitude of viral outbreaks of that time would have surely correlated directly to who were the biggest snoggers in the nation, and perhaps other figures, like unwanted pregnancies.

  5.  @GGTutor1  No-one truly knows the future behaviour and impacts of this virus, as no-one knows the adaptations that this, or any other virus will make, even so-called experts admit this and are constantly updating their opinions on ways to deal with it, according to its new and varied behaviours, in a suck it and see fashion. And you are assuming we can build up immune systems that are resistant to any forthcoming variants, through being infected en masse, or mass vaccinations, which will build up some kind of herd immunity. Yet, look at the cost of various forms of flu down the years, which have still not been eradicated, and still kill many peoples around the globe, Spanish flu being a particularly virulent and deadly version, which interestingly came after the war, a time of great grief and strife for mankind, which would have weakened their immune systems. Your point also seems to assume that the virus will not then mutate sufficiently, as the Omicron variant seems to have done already, and so dodge any prior formed resistance, formerly built up by our immune systems, whilst minimising any future build-up of further resistance and immunity, by finding a way to by-pass those normal circuits that cause and enhance an immune response. Then, there is the issue of mankind's general failing health through his lack of spirituality, poor nutrition and lifestyle choices, which are all contributing to the formation of new viruses, through weakened radiations from the Source of Life Itself, which also leads to a a decreased efficacy of the immune system. Ultimately, the countless nature beings who serve the Almighty Will will decide the future of coming viruses, and the effects of them upon mankind, for man has little idea now how to live aright in this Creation part that belongs to the Lord, for he blindly ignores these Laws, to his own detriment, even to his self-destruction. For there is a rhyme and reason for everything within the Wheels of Creation, as man reaps what he sows, but few awaken yet to their wrong ways of living, and only genuinely, good living based upon spiritual principles will yet save the erring mankind from complete annihilation, if they awaken from their intellectual conceit and vanity in time.
