There were plenty of caravans and wild dogs howling at night 25 yrs ago when I was up there often for a weekend or week in my tent. I mixed with some of the homeless, and they seemed really sweet. I know the situations changing now...there looks more caravans, and the drug and homeless issues...and mh issues... are all much worse. The govts we had ran the country down from the 70s and 80s...and friendly communities that had resources for everyone are non existent now. Public baths closing, sports facilities closing...care facilities closing...Housing issues, employment issues and so on, on the increase...then add immigration problems...the country is imploding and it's unsettling for everyone. Glastonbury itself is an unusual place...it has high spiritual energies that attracts people, unaware of its spiritual significance and meaning, although they sense something and it draws them. Then it has the music festival, and it has the Tor, the Abbey, the Wells, and other sacred places, and quite a decent size shopping centre that reflects the spiritual core of the town. It's a shame there is not the money to upgrade the caravans, and develop those buildings and sites...the people seemed respectable...but without resources, it can seem like a losing battle. Thank for the video.
