Many have down the yrs, especially Union officials who were trained and well versed in these matters, so the Tories chose a battleground called the Miner's Strike, which I was in, and promptly destroyed Unions, and the working class and their communities by the erasure of their jobs and industries. And with this pivotal move, any powerful resistance to their agenda, which was a free market economy with scant regard for workers and the poor, although the poor gradually included an increasing no of people who may have at one time considered themselves middle class professionals. The system is designed to enhance the lives of the few elite, and deprive others, so how can we expect the leadership to be different, as they serve the system, and all self-serving parties who seek to control it. For example, some rich business men paid for a new Union for the scabs who worked, who were always the least defiant and lowest in morals, ans did not care about values, nor longer term issues, just immediacy and as much money as they could get. So they joined the new Union, which was no use to them at all within 3 yrs for most of them, as they no longer had a job to go to. If we had wise leaders, who dealt with matters on an issue and compassionate basis, rather than what can I get out of life basis, then we would resolve almost all of the world's problems overnight. And then there would be no need for politics, politicians, nor Unions. Hence, the system will and must collapse, it is out of balance, as there is too much dishonesty, greed, selfishness, envy and hate, and it will collapse amidst many bitter lamentations and suffering, as wars and anarchy bring everything to the pt of complete destruction, for that is the insanity of the being that is called man. For generally, and especially leaders in power, are psychopaths!!!

@Maax1200 Not necessarily. Markets, stock and shares are like a complex game of poker, and these guys were brought up with it, and they adore it, and when they got Utd, what a nice, juicy fat cow they acquired. They won't give up so easily, despite struggling to run the club, although if they receive a stupid price, they'll go. If not, other gamblers such as Hedge Fund managers could be involved, they have already spoken to some, and have been for 18 months, as a fall back for if they stay. They know they are deeply un-liked, but don't care, thick-skinned, as only think about money. The gall to state that they were looking down different avenues for the good of the club, and fans made me feel like puking. I sincerely hope they go, although if it was related to what they have brought to the club, they should be offering Utd millions in return for the hate, debt, and crap footy fans had to endure.

@rohitrevankar7674 Yes, as you say, lots of intrigues, and these Glazers know how to play a tune out of the markets, but the greatest lever for driving prices up, or down, is confidence, which you can to some extent fix, by driving up prices via word, or buying your own stock indirectly. UK lost billions in 3 days, when markets ganged up on them, due to lack of confidence mainly, and seen issues recently in general when Truss came in with her extreme right-wing monetary policies. Add to this that people generally do not trust, nor like, the way the Glazer's have mismanaged the club, and not least, as they have no real collateral, and there is little breathing space now with club's needs for spare money for team to win things, and be attractive to sponsors. So unless they find say Hedge Funders, who will take a risk for long term gain, in hope of new markets, so they can cross the bridge that they have now arrived at, whereby they need money for players, the stadium, and training ground, then they will struggle to run the club, and may sell. They'll want a fortune though! So cat and mouse, and a game of poker, who bottles it first like a game of playing blind, although if say those Hedge Funders buy in, we shall probably see the Glazers in charge for at least another 8-10 yrs, sadly, and when they sell, it could be to other Yanks. Dread the thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The govt and FA needs to step in, otherwise I'm not sure they're going anywhere.

@BM-qn6fg Who has forgotten to reply. Perhaps, it's as they have forgotten him, or never knew about him. I was really pleased to have two top assistants for ETH, it's a new job, a big job, Mac knows Utd, knows Fergie, knows Utd fans, and he must be a decent coach, as he did become England No 1 at one time. It was above his station, but as a No 2, or No 3, he'll do for me!

@garyowen4112 Agree with last post, the money made available has been misused, as there was a penny-pinching attitude towards our top targets, then we threw money at the last moment at players 3rd and 4th on the list, and paid way over the odds. MAGUIRE ONE EXAMPLE. And it was clear that people like Woodward had more clout than managers, or anyone on playing side, in choosing who we bought, then add all their delay tactics, and it's been a nightmare. Seeing Woodward arrogantly watching over games then as the principal recruitment man, with no football nous, akin to some kind of Roman Emperor, whilst top managers came and went, all bemoaning that they never got who they really wanted, then looking at who we did get, it was an absolute disgrace and utter shambles. All down to Glazeronomics, and the way they have run the club, or should I say mismanaged it!!! Add the PR circus they use, and well, it's just not the Man Utd of old. Well shut...if they go.

So this is not the return of a knight of the roundtable, coming home to his homeland and gifting the land back to his peers, and own people. And I thought he was perhaps the Grail King, for we already have the Red Knights, Euro nights, and Sir Alex and Sir Bob...just! Sit Matt hath gone home, but Sir Jim could bring back the glory days, or not. It sounds as though despite the right title to qualify for either a Red Knight, or King of the Roundtable, he simply does not have the dosh..enter, the Arabian Knights, the Saracens, sorry, Qataris. Who would have thought that once they took back Jerusalem, they would turn their attention to grey, always pouring it down, miserable Manchester! Rather them than me!

Imagine the amt of training to perform that trick...only Jonesy could pull that off. Pure theatre when he played, the acute issues with co-ordination that caused his endless injuries, the way his facial expressions were somehow connected, but not co-ordinated as well to his movements, the contortions. He could have been in a circus, he was that good, as he could move, just not in the right direction, nor in the way, he was meant to. Yet, he won titles with us, and has been paid for half a decade for his participation in perpetual free treatments on a Club couch, unless he bought his own personalised version. So who's laughing now.
