  2. I recall my father telling me of a language teacher who spoke 11 languages, of which the hardest were the Finnish and Hungarian, as they were similar. I thought at the time, perhaps this was due to the people of the steppes, who invaded Europe at one time, with a few settling in specific areas. Perhaps this would explain their link to Sanskrit and the native Indian languages, that probably derived from their Asian roots.
