  1. Most wars are localised, and the two world wars were rare cases really, although sparked by local incidents, perhaps showing that as man has advanced in his ways of capitalism and globalism, then he is more likely to be dragged into a global conflict exceedingly quickly, and restricting any conflict to isolated boundaries is extremely difficult. To some degree it has almost occurred, such as in Korea in the 50's, when two 'superpowers' fought one another, as Western countries fought vs Oriental ones on the borders of China, and it very almost ended in the use of nuclear bombs in 1953 I think it was. Then, there was the Cuban crisis, when the Russians encroached upon the US shores, showing the danger always lies when there is a strong difference of feeling within the superpower camps, and US most certainly did not like the idea of Russians putting nuclear missiles on Cuba. Similarly now, Russia feels threatened by Nato surrounding them, not least as they ruled and occupied many of these smaller nations on their western borders, and Europe's boundaries, which now belong to Nato, and are being use for the stockpiling and stationing of armed forced and war equipment. Russia sees this as an invasion that has spilled directly to their intrinsic borders, which can make a big difference in any potential nuclear exchange, which they openly fear, and simultaneously are prepared to use, be it tactically, or destructively upon the populations of nations around the world. The instinct of many Russians now, and this is from the lips of a Russian, is to take what you want, all the more so if you fear your enemy is becoming too strong for you. And that's why Putin's fate lays in the fate of the war, inextricably, as he is the chosen strong arm of Russia, who has been chosen to defend their fatherland, and if he fails, then his fate is sealed...ad he knows it! So hard to see a good outcome here, but the bottom line I feel is that these events show are the way in which a dichotomy of the world was occurring after WW2, as the US took a lead in moving the world forward, technically, health-wise, economically, and philosophically, as fee market forces and global expansion of these markets were seen as the utopia to the world's ills and woes, in the hope that all other countries would become a part of this whole process, and wealth and peace would prevail. Many Eastern countries saw through this, and realised they were either being used, or it was hard to compete against the US, and some other Western nations, as everything was set up for them to flourish, and this is why the US intervened in the politics of many nations, which is deeply resented around the world. And peace cannot come to peoples and nations if inequalities and inequities if these resentments and differences are deep and so great envy and hate has built up over the years since the end of WW2. Ukraine, unlike Russia, wished to buy into this hegemony of Western capitalism, but it is ideologically at odds with Russia, then you have their intimate natures and relations of the past, and the fact many Ukrainians in the East feel more Russian than Ukrainian. Thus, nationalistic values are being merged and reacting with both the philosophies of these nations, they were are led, along with the economic-social issues. I sense the damage was done long ago by the US, and previously by the UK, and sometimes other European nations, who have set up a democratic model that sounds good on paper, but still nevertheless bring derision, division, and hate in its midst. One has only to look in every town, city and rural area in the West to see that it does not work for the majority, all the more as the rich become richer, and poor, poorer, as that is what the model breeds and promotes. And these same discrepancies in wealth and health distribution, and empowerment issues, are rife across the globe, and so many in developing nations, mostly in the East, wish to buy out of the system, and this war has accentuated these desires, and highlighted these differences between the West and the East. So the fact that we are looking at deep divisions not only in where the real borders lie between Russia and Ukraine, and in other countries along this East/West axis, there are more fundamental issues amongst the elite of these nations, of how they wish to lead their nations and lives...which when you think about it, is far, far more dangerous than a mere physical boundary. So the last Question, where does this lead...well, it can only lead to WW3, and nuclear holocausts, as both sides become more determined to protect their so-called values, peoples, lands, riches...and power. Thus, it is not in the least unlike all other wars, except the levels of hate and the insane acts committed soon will dwarf any previous destructive means by which men destroyed one another. And the effects will be global, and catastrophic. People sense it coming, and rightly so, this is their spirits and intuition warning them it is coming...the APOCALYPSE!!! This is the release of all men's karmic threads from this and other lives, and since men must reap what they sow, and have sown mostly evil, then evil returns. We can look forward to future lives on an earth that has been restored to its former beauty, if we make the effort to recognise what is wrong, and rectify it, through changed and better thoughts and actions. The intuition, the inner conscience, the inner voice, and the sense of beauty, alongside selfless service for a good cause, are all wondrous means by which a person may ascend spiritually, and arise out of the ASHES of the coming annihilation and obliteration of the world. And once they start, there will be no stopping it, not for 28 years from 2028, when I sense it begins. DEEDS OF UTTER MADNESS ON ALL SIDES! Hopefully, the remaining men will learn to change, and set up systems that encourage respect for all nations and cultures, and all peoples, as all deserve to flourish!!!
