@fillyjonkxiioflowersaxony Yes, the scene at the end of A New Hope where Luke, Han, and Chewy are walking down a path past lined up soldiers to receive medals from Princess Leia was almost a shot-for-shot redoing of a scene in Triumph of the Will (same angles and everything) where Hitler and a few NSDAP officials walk down a corridor lined with soldiers towards a stage.

@mudiabubakar8503 Because historically, 19th century American slaves had a higher standard of living than people living in Africa at that same time. Simple as. And slavery existed in Africa too, it existed long before any whites came to the continent and continues to exist in some parts of it to this day. It would probably still be legal in many places if the Europeans didn't outlaw it when they took over.

@mudiabubakar8503 Dude, the Europeans also outlawed cannibalism when they took over Africa, lol. I have a history degree my friend, and nothing you're saying has any real basis in it. No, Africans weren't uncivilized heathens. They did, however, practice slavery long before any Europeans entered the picture and continued to practice it until the Europeans forced them to stop. And that is historical fact.

@mudiabubakar8503 Slavery in the Americas was hardly the most brutal form of it. What the Africans did to each other was outright inhumane, destroying entire villages and killing anyone who was not fit enough to enslave. This is part of the reason why American slaves had a higher standard of living than Africans in the 19th century. This is pretty much common knowledge now, but you seem to need a reminder. The Europeans didn't go through the jungle themselves looking for slaves, the Africans enslaved other Africans and sold them to the Europeans. All the Europeans had to do was sail right up to the coast and buy slaves at the slave market, markets which were already well-established before the Europeans came there. Yes, Africans practiced cannibalism. Then the Europeans outlawed it, along with slavery.
