It kind of does though in the sense that it throws shade at the true reasoning behind it. For example, many Communists acknowledge that 10s of millions died in famines in Communist countries, but they often blame it on pretty much everything except Communist ideology. They blame the weather, the "kulaks," the foreigners, . . . and so on. By constantly denying the origin of the famines, they've essentially learned nothing from the whole thing and will continue to subscribe to an ideology that regularly causes famines. TIK's explanation of the Holocaust is similar to this.

It is.

And the Soviet Union banned all Socialist and Communist political parties that weren't aligned with the Bolsheviks and executed them en masse . . . I fail to see the difference.

@oscartang4587u3 Repeat what it says

I've seen the 14 check mark thing. By its logic, all major participants of WWII, Soviets included, were Fascist.

@rickglorie On the contrary, much of that also exists with Socialism, the friend-enemy thinking, the collective, the "people's community," absolute leadership. Socialists claim to be internationalist rather than nationalist, but there's a curious trend throughout history of Socialists all of a sudden becoming very nationalistic once they actually take over a country and establish a Socialist state. I would also argue it's anti-intellectual since it also requires adherence to the party line and defies basic economics. As for anti-Semitism, many other Socialist variants are anti-Semitic, but in a cultural and religious sense instead of a racial / ethnic one. That's because many Socialists believe that Jews are inherently Capitalist due to their prominence in business and capital-based ventures and that this stems from their culture. Marx himself criticized Judaism in this sense.

@randomuser3481 All of those quotes have been proven false though. The NSDAP was a Socialist party from all available evidence.
