@dubaibank Except that "intersex" occurs from a mutation. That doesn't mean that's the norm. For example, humans have 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot (yes, I count the thumbs). There are mutations that occur in an incredibly small minority of people where they can have 6 digits or more on each hand or foot, or less than 5. This does not mean that the number of digits we have is suddenly within a range, it is widely accepted that humans have 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot. Mutations that result in more digits are explained as just that: mutations that do not define the norm. And correct if I am wrong, but I heard somewhere that it is actually more common for someone to be born with 6 digits than it is for someone to be born "intersex."
