  3. How exactly is it propaganda? Lukashenko came to power and immediately raised Russian to the status of official language and made it the language of his government. Russian language and culture is promoted over Belarusian and a minority of Belarusian young people speak Belarusian over Russian because of him. Additionally, he replaced all of Belarus' traditional flags and national symbols with Communist ones of Russian origin. He is a Russian puppet.
