I do as well. They make excellent fertilizer for growing sunflowers.

No different than any other government on the planet.

Homeless people do hard drugs at a much higher rate than the general population. Drugs are the reason many of them are in that position in the first place.
1
The government handing out lucrative contracts and bailouts to solve issues that government traditionally shouldn't be sticking its nose in is not Capitalism.
1
@robertagren9360 That's incredibly stupid. Landlords gain nothing from homelessness. If their rent is too high, no one will want to rent. And being homeless does not make you a slave, you are not owned by anyone else.

Dude, the whole reason there are a lot of Russian speakers in Eastern Ukraine to begin with is because the Russians launched a genocide against Ukrainians in the early 1930s called the Holodomor that killed millions of ethnic Ukrainians. They then resettled the area with ethnic Russians. Several parts of Southern Russia, such as Kuban, even had Ukrainian majorities historically, but they too were killed. Moskals are bastards that haven't done a single good thing for Eastern Europe in centuries.

Capitalism is explicitly when the state does not interfere in economic activity. The state manipulating things to such an extent is not Capitalism.
1
@Satanic_Marxist Capitalism - an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market (Merriam-Webster) When the state makes economic decisions, influences the production and distribution of capital goods, and sets up price controls, you don't have Capitalism. Nice try, commie.

Probably is usually false. Most criticisms of the CCP are true, it is a corrupt and terrible government.
1
Statistically, the overwhelming majority of homeless people are in that position due to their own actions or inactions.
1
Given how sh*tty the Russian military has proven itself to be, I think for most people with common sense, it's a question of when Ukraine will win, not if.
1
No, Capitalism is when the state DOESN'T involve itself in economic activity. The fact that we're talking about governments handing out tons of money in government contracts indicates that it isn't Capitalism. And Socialist nations see 10 times the corruption the U.S. does.
1
Dude, the U.S. has already been operating a ponzi scheme to rob Americans for 80 years. It's called Social Security.
1
Yes, all of this revolves around the state involving itself in the economy, handing out government contracts to do things . . . very Capitalistic.
1
What your proposing is simply a logistical impossibility, especially for an organization as inherently inefficient and incompetent as a government. As with most things, the best thing the government could do is absolutely nothing.
1
Love how leftists online love to point at issues caused and or mishandled by the government as the problem of "Capitalism," like how they like to point at the 5% of American prisons that are for-profit and claim that's all prisons.
1
Capitalism isn't government contracts and bailouts. You're thinking of Socialism.
1
@henrylootens6578 Capitalism - an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market (Merriam-Webster) Pretty clear that the economic activity should be conducted by private entities. Nothing about government bailouts and contracts to be found here.
1
@nerd2544 Government contracts and bailouts are not Capitalism. Capitalism is when the state DOESN'T involve itself in economic activity, leaving everything to the free market. In fact, getting rid of the free market entirely would result in corrupt like this x10
1
It's been over a year. Probably not going to happen.
1
The government handing out lucrative contracts and bailouts to solve issues that government traditionally shouldn't be sticking its nose in is not Capitalism. Capitalism is explicitly when the state doesn't involve itself in economic matters.
1
I wish they didn't care, then they'd stop handing out contracts to solve problems that don't need solving.
1
Dude, Russians are Godless commies that don't have 1/10th the amount of liberty that Americans have.

He was a tyrant who slaughtered thousands.
