  1. I haven’t found where Toyota will bring it back as a hybrid. It’s supposed to be reintroduced in 2025 but with an internal combustion engine. The same or similar drive train as the new Celica.

  3.  @imnotusingmyrealname4566  The reports I read only mentioned a gasoline driven engine. There was no mention of a hybrid. The speculation was around the normally aspirated engine of the Corolla with a possibility of a turbo for the high end Sport Celica. These are all speculations since Toyota tends to use off the shelf drive trains.

  4. Similarly, Pontiac had the Fierro. The front suspension was from the infamous Chevy Chevette..😅 The GM Iron Duke 4 was a very underpowered and unreliable engine.
