The whole thing, from the very beginning, had been planned and created by Russian chauvinists, so called "greatrussians," "velikorosses" in the dream to restore the Great Russia including the Ukraine. The fake republics at the Donbass were created with the only purpose to provoke Ukraine for the attempts to get their land back. They did what they could, and all the unavoidable casualties were immediately charged to Ukrainians. This is how the pretext for invasion the Ukraine was cynically created.
