  7. You're gonna need to be a famous influencer to get any kind of project/app off the ground. Or you're gonna have to pay a famous influencer. Anyway, the bar just grew 50 feet taller with GPT

  8. That's the vibe I got from the video ; in 2022 you need to be both a hardcore programmer AND an influencer with a large community, otherwise people won't even get to see your projects. It's either that, or get some VC type of cash to pay up influencers / press / or Google / Meta ads. Google isn't a search engine anymore, it's a highly curated directory of approved websites which barely returns any results anymore, even for non controversial/political queries. At that point, it's fair to assume that they have been (for years) actively crawling and delisting websites for wrongthink, using the same filter they're using on YouTube comments. As for FB/IG, page owners started noticing back in 2017 (pre censorship) that their organic reach got capped around 7% (vs 40% before) unless they paid up. So, yeah. There's no way to get the kind of 2000-2010's organic traction that allowed projects like Twitter to emerge in the first place, at least I haven't found it yet.
